About Me
I'm Ellethea. Long before AI ethics entered the picture, I had a different goal: bridging the worlds of technology and law. I completed a degree in Information and Communication Technology, majoring in Software Engineering, before going on to pursue a law degree, driven by a desire to sit at the intersection of how systems are built and how they're governed.
It was during my legal studies that AI ethics found me. What began as a natural extension of my interest in bridging IT and law became a defining shift in direction, one that combined my technical foundation with my legal training in a field that was, and still is, in urgent need of people who understand both sides.
In late 2024, that shift became a business. I founded The Ethical Compass AI to help organizations navigate the practical and governance-related questions that come with adopting AI, questions that sit exactly where my own path had led me: at the crossroads of technology and law. Today, I help businesses and nonprofits identify AI risk and translate it into clear, actionable guidance while helping organizations move forward with confidence.
